Founder and President
Michael Lamb has over 15 years experience in the construction materials industry in the Southeast. He began his career in the industry as the Co-Founder and Vice President of Roxbury Ready-Mix which he and his partners sold in 2006 to Ennstone, PLC. Following the sale of Roxbury, Michael served as the Business Development Manager for CEMEX in their Florida region where he worked with CEMEX’s Senior Management on the overall strategy for ready-mix, cement, and aggregate operations. In 2009 he left CEMEX to start GreenRock. Michael holds an MBA from the Mason School of Business at the College of William and Mary, completed graduate coursework at the European Business School in Wiesbaden, Germany and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Liberty University.
Steve Kerr, P.E.
Vice President Quality Assurance and Sales
Steve Kerr is a licensed Professional Engineer in Virginia, with 25 years experience in the construction industry. Past positions include Staff Engineer at Froehling & Robertson where he was the manager of the concrete testing laboratory, and Territory Manager positions at W. R. Grace and Solite. He is a past President of the Virginia Chapter ACI. Steve is a current Examiner of Record for the ACI field testing technician and the ACI concrete laboratory testing technician examinations in Virginia. He has served as the Technical Committee Chairman of the Richmond Concrete Advisory Council for the past 8 years. Steve received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree from Lehigh University in 1991.
Vice President and General Manager
Ted Hinson started in the construction materials industry 35 years ago. Prior to GreenRock Ted served as the manager of Solite Lightweight Transportation, held management positions with The Giant Cement Company and served as President and COO of Powhatan Ready-Mix. Ted currently serves as General Manager of NSL Transport and GreenRock Materials.
